Your Entire Digital Life — That Never Leaves Your iPhone
The encrypted vault with a fully on-device AI assistant now adds private messaging with no phone number and no server, unifying storage, browsing, capture, AI, and conversation in a single secure vault.
Portland, OR — Privacy on the iPhone has always been fragmented. People hide sensitive photos in a vault app, yet still browse in a tracker-laden browser, shoot in the system camera where every photo lands in the shared camera roll, keep passwords somewhere else, message through a service that holds their phone number and their contact graph — and the moment they turn to AI for help, their most personal questions are sent to someone else’s servers. Every one of those handoffs is a leak.
Infinity Vaults 4.0 closes them. It brings capture, storage, browsing, artificial intelligence, and — for the first time — messaging into a single encrypted vault that lives entirely on the user’s device. Nothing has to leave. Nothing scatters across the operating system or the cloud.
Messaging with no phone number, no account, and no message server
The headline of 4.0 is private messaging between Infinity Vaults users. There is nothing to sign up for. Each vault generates its own identity, and people connect by sharing an invitation link or QR code, then verify each other with a safety code. Every message, photo, file, voice note, and shared location is encrypted end to end on the sender’s device and can be read only on the recipient’s. There is no messaging server. Encrypted envelopes are relayed through the user’s own iCloud account and deleted once collected, so 333i never handles a message and holds no keys. Conversations support replies, reactions, forwarding, disappearing and view-once messages, screenshot protection, scheduled send, and unsend. On-device AI translates messages, suggests replies, and transcribes voice notes without any of it leaving the phone. Blocking and reporting are built in, and a connection can be removed at any time.
A private AI that never leaves the device
Infinity Vaults includes a complete on-device AI assistant. Users can chat, summarize their own documents and web pages, transcribe audio, and generate and edit images — all processed on the iPhone itself, on Apple’s Neural Engine. The local models are built on Apple’s MLX and Core ML and Apple’s Foundation Models, and image creation integrates Apple’s own Image Playground, so even generative AI stays on the device. There’s no account, and nothing is sent to a server. For those who want more power, optional cloud models (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic) are available — clearly labeled and off by default. Privacy is the starting point, not a setting.
Security with real breadth
Infinity Vaults isn’t “a photo vault.” It’s an encrypted home for everything sensitive: photos, videos, files, passwords, cards, contacts, notes, and 2FA codes. Vaults unlock by PIN, pattern, password, Face ID, or geofence, and break-in reports capture the photo, time, and location of anyone who tries to get in. A vault can erase itself after repeated failed attempts, and decoy vaults give prying eyes something to find. Every vault is protected with AES-256 envelope encryption under its own key, wrapped by a key derived from the user’s passphrase, and Key-Bound Encryption can make the user’s unlock key part of the encryption itself — no vendor key, no backdoor, no recovery by anyone but the user. Vaults can also live on an external drive, with the key staying on the device.
A real browser, not a viewer
Most “private browsers” are stripped-down viewers. Infinity Vaults includes a full browser — tabs, downloads, saved pages, home-screen web apps — with more than 40,000 trackers blocked, now free for every user. Anything a user downloads lands directly in the vault rather than the operating system’s shared storage, so going online doesn’t create a new trail, and an optional Require VPN setting halts browsing the moment a VPN drops.
A real camera that captures into the vault
The built-in camera is a full capture tool, with zoom and exposure controls — but the photos and videos it takes are written straight into the encrypted vault. They never touch the system camera roll. Content is private from the instant it’s created, and the editor that follows — crop, filters, text, stickers, blur and redaction, video trim and transcode — keeps it that way.
Why it’s cohesive — and why that’s the point
On their own, a private browser, a photo vault, a password manager, a messenger, and a cloud chatbot each protect one slice of a person’s life while leaving the seams exposed. Infinity Vaults’s insight is that privacy only holds if the entire workflow stays in one place. Because users capture, store, browse, think, and now talk inside the same encrypted vault, their data is born, kept, shared, and used privately — it never lands in the OS’s plaintext stores or on a server someone else controls. That end-to-end cohesion is what no single-purpose app offers.
Availability
Infinity Vaults is a free download on the App Store for iPhone and iPad (iOS 17.6+). An optional IV Professional subscription ($2.99/month or $29.99/year, 7-day trial) unlocks advanced features. Cloud vaults, when enabled, store only encrypted data in the user’s own Dropbox or Google Drive — we can’t see it, and neither can the cloud provider.
